Poster Presentation

Students will give a 10 minute presentation to the judges (2 judges per poster) plus 3-minute Q&A. Students should be available to present between 10am-12pm.

Judges will consider the following criteria and score posters out of a total mark of 10:

Introduces the study and provides a clear context.
Rationale or research question is stated clearly.
Experiments are carefully conducted with proper controls.
Experiments are performed by the student.
Conclusions are supported by results.
Accuracy and overall knowledge of the work.
Organization of the poster (overall and within sections) is clear.
Response to questions demonstrated knowledge of subject matter and project.

Two poster prizes will be awarded for each Poster Group:

1^st place- $30 gift card and award certificate

2^nd place- $20 gift card and award certificate
