Kickback 2024

The Black Student Success Program is hosting our second annual Kickback event happening on the Commons Field by Nechako September 12 from 4-7pm.
This event is open to all Black-identifying students, staff and faculty; we are so excited to welcome folks back to campus with a BBQ, music, lawn games and more.

Kickback is a drop-in event where participants are able to come and go as they please. We encourage folks with accessibility needs or dietary restrictions to fill out the attached Fourwaves to ensure that everyone can fully participate. There are gender-neutral and accessible washrooms in the Nechako building beside the event. Participants can expect there to be a higher than normal level of noise and for it to be busy at times, especially around the lawn games and BBQ area.
