It will address the emotional and ethical responsibilities of fieldwork, the importance of respectful storytelling, and the role of partnerships in uplifting community voices. Forum members include Lauren Willette, Lisa Higgins, Elisha Oliver, and Jeannelle Ramirez, who will share experiences working with activists, storytellers, and folk artists. Discussions will highlight digital content, apprenticeship programs, and collaborative storytelling efforts. The forum will conclude with a guided audience conversation to allow others to share their experiences on the emotional impact and honor of preserving cultural heritage.
