When preparing your abstract follow the guidelines below:

1. Please be sure to review your abstract with your supervisor before submitting.

2. Your abstract length should be less than 300 words.

3. For the title use sentence case, do not use capitols for each word in your title.

4. The form will prompt you to add your affiliate authors. You will need to add their email address and they will receive a notification.

5. For affiliations use the following format: Institute, Department, University, City, State/Province.

6. If you cut and paste text from a word processing software, scientific symbols and special formatting may be lost. Spell out character names or use spacing whenever possible.

7. Your abstract submission can be edited. You will have the ability to log in to the Fourwaves platform after you submit. Editing will close two weeks before the event.

8. Poster Presenters: the poster format size is 3 ' x 4 '. Bring your printed poster to the event and place it on a display board with your abstract number ID number on it.

9. Oral Presenters: load your presentation onto the meeting laptop computer using a USB key/jump drive before the meeting begins. Save your file with the following nomenclature "Abstract ID number First Name Last Name".

10. Poster Presenters - we are inviting all poster presenters to come on November 13th at 3:30 pm to put their posters up on the boards at the Life Sciences Centre.

11. November 13th at 4 pm we are hosting the Second annual Clee Memorial Lectureship for Emerging Leaders in Metabolism. We hope all VDRD presenters will join us for this international faculty presentation.

12. Reminder: you must complete the Registration Form in order to submit your Abstract Form.
