2026-2027 USASP Call for Committee Volunteers
Committee Expectations
Volunteers are expected to serve a term of 3 years. At the end of your term, you can re-apply.
If you are selected, your term will begin August 1, 2026 through August 1, 2029.
Student Involvement: Trainees, including students, are invited to apply. After one year, trainees can opt out of their term.
Rotation: Each year, 1/3 of all committees will rotate off to provide USASP members access to leadership positions within the organization.
Committees should meet at least twice a year to discuss projects. One of these meetings can be during the Annual Scientific Meeting.
Additional meetings may be called upon by the Chair or co-chair of the committee as needed to work on projects.
Submit (1) a statement of interest (1-page max) and (2) your CV or Biosketch by clicking the "Apply Here" tab above.
We ask that you submit one application per committee.
The Committee on Committees will review the applications and you will be notified in August of your status.
