27th Congress of Students, Interns and Residents of the CHUM

Dear students, postdoctoral fellows, and residents,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to this new edition of the CRCHUM Student, Postdoctoral Fellow, and Resident Congress.

This day is first and foremost yours. It highlights your creativity, rigor, curiosity, and commitment to research and improving healthcare. It also reminds us that behind every project, every data point, and every discovery, there are passionate individuals who dare to ask new questions and imagine different solutions.

A congress like this is much more than a series of scientific presentations. It is a space for meeting, dialogue, and sharing. It is an opportunity to showcase your work, but also to exchange ideas, create new collaborations, and discover the wealth of research conducted by your colleagues.

I therefore invite you to make the most of this day. Explore the program, attend presentations, ask questions, engage in discussions, and meet people you don't yet know. Every interaction can spark a new idea, open an unexpected door, or inspire a collaboration.

Presenting your work takes courage. It means being willing to make your ideas visible, to engage with other perspectives, and to continue developing them. Your participation, in all its forms, directly contributes to the vitality of our scientific community.

I would like to warmly thank everyone who contributes to the organization of this event, as well as the mentors, research teams, jury members, and partners who support the development of the next generation.

To you, students, postdoctoral fellows, and residents, I wish you a day rich in discoveries, exchanges, and new connections. Be curious, be bold, and above all, make your presence felt. Your voice, your ideas, and your perspective on the major challenges in health are essential.
