2021 RTD / SURP Research Poster Conference

Featuring Promising Research in All Areas Relevant to JPL

The annual Research Poster Conference is held to encourage sharing of research results from internally funded programs with all members of the JPL-Caltech community and university collaborators.

This sharing will foster further innovation that will result in new ways JPL can address future opportunities that contribute to NASA's missions and the overall scientific endeavors of the nation.

Featuring Promising Research in All Areas Relevant to JPL

Sharing Scientific and Technical Innovation and Inspiring the Community

The internal research and technology development program comprises both the Research and Technology Development (R&TD) Programs and the Strategic University Research Partnership (SURP) Program. These programs are supported by Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) internal funds, and are administered by the Offices of the Chief Scientist and Chief Technologist. The primary purpose of these programs is to enhance JPL's ability to address the future opportunities to work in support of NASA, and to expand research collaborations with external partners. With this internal funding, JPL is strategically positioning itself for upcoming analysis, instrument and mission opportunities.

This year’s Research Poster Conference showcases more than 260 authors, presenting posters, from the SURP program, and the Innovative Spontaneous Concept, Topical and Strategic Initiative programs of the R&TD.
