4th Canadian Zebrafish Research Community meeting

Welcome to the 4th Canadian Zebrafish Research Community Scientific Meeting
We are very happy to welcome you to the home page of this next edition of the CZRC meeting.
This scientific day will be an opportunity to bring together the growing Canadian community of researchers working on zebrafish.
This year, our goals are:
- To highlight young researchers and students and allow them to present their data to the community to obtain constructive critical feedback
- To meet the growing community of Canadian researchers working on zebrafish and learn about the diversity of expertise of our community
- To promote new inter-institutional collaborative work across Canada
- To discuss the methods and techniques used in our laboratories on major thematic axes such as human disease modelling and new advances in neuroscience research.
We look forward to seeing you on May 15th, 2026 in Montréal!
Gabriel Bossé, Joey Ghersi, co-organizer, and Dmitry Kretov

We are proud to introduce two new awards.
Thanks to the support of the Company of Biologists, up to 6 travel awards will be available for this year's meeting. These awards are for trainees and will be selected based on the abstract, distance from the venue, and career stage of the principal advisor. We aim to provide more opportunities for everyone to attend the meeting.
We are also launching the Rising Star Postdoctoral Award. We plan to invite 2 postdoctoral fellows to present their work at the conference. Postdoctoral fellows at Canadian institutions and Canadian fellows from around the globe are welcome to apply. At this time, only fellows with a minimum of two years of experience at the time of the meeting will be considered.
The application forms for this award are available on the abstract submission page.
