2021 CSMB Annual Conference: Protein Homeostasis

64th Annual Conference - Canadian Society for Molecular Biosciences

2nd Meeting - Proteostasis Researchers in Canada, Eh (PRinCE)

June 14-17, 2021

The 2021 CSMB Annual Conference will follow up from the PRinCE Inaugural Meeting held in 2019. The conference will bring together a growing network of researchers working in the field of protein homeostasis in Canada. Relevant topics include protein folding, protein trafficking, protein degradation, phase separation, as well as neurodegenerative and infectious diseases.

Principal Investigators and trainees from across Canada are welcome. The program will offer talks in a wide range of topics, and stimulating opportunities to exchange ideas and build collaborations between labs. In addition to the scientific talks and poster sessions, a panel discussion on the future of science in Canada will be held.

Format

The conference will be held virtually, from Monday, June 14 to Thursday, June 17, 2021. The lower costs will allow a larger number of participants to attend than an in-person event, especially trainees. Each day’s proceedings will be held during times accessible from all parts of Canada: 12 noon to 6 pm Eastern Time, or 9 am to 3 pm Pacific Time. The detailed program is being developed and will be available soon.
