Registration is not required. However, registration will allow you to receive updates about the event. Head over to our registration page, and complete the online form.

The Symposium is an in-person event. The schedule is available on the website and includes a detailed list of sessions, presenters, and events. Check the schedule regularly for updates and changes.

Yes, UNC Asheville students and collaborators can submit a presentation proposal during the open call for speakers. Because this event is intended to highlight work by UNC Asheville students, members of the community at large are invited to attend, but not to present their work. Visit the 'Submission' page on the website, and follow the submission guidelines provided.

Oral sessions are held throughout campus. Please refer to the schedule for building and room locations. The poster session, First Year Showcase, and Super Mega Music Fest will be held in Highsmith Union. All buildings are marked on the campus map.

Attendees who do not have a student, faculty/staff, or OLLI parking pass should register for a Visitor Parking pass. The interactive campus map indicates two dedicated Visitor lots. In addition to these, permitted visitors may park in Non-Resident or All Permit lots.

UNC Asheville's main dining hall is Brown Hall, located adjacent to Highsmith Union. There is a food court on the lower level of Highsmith Union, as well as a coffee shop just inside the lobby. Smoothie Lab is located off the lobby of Ramsey Library and serves coffee drinks, small snacks, and smoothies and bowls.

You can also get a bite from Cecelia's Kitchen's food truck at the Think Global! International Education Celebration! on Reed Plaza outside Highsmith Union.
