Welcome to the 23rd ^"Congrès des étudiant(e)s, stagiaires et résident(e)s du CHUM" !

Dear students, postdoctoral fellows and residents,

It is with great enthusiasm that we will meet you again on May 11th and 12th for the 23rd edition of your congress.

This year again we had to turn to a virtual formula. We still hope to propose a dynamic event that will allow you to share your research results with all members of the CRCHUM community.

The congress is a unique opportunity to discover the diversity of your research themes and the approaches used, which are part of a continuum of basic, clinical and population health research. We hope that this will result in new collaborations that will help you in the development of your research and your career.

Poster presentations are proposed in an interactive virtual format that will allow you to have friendly interactions with groups of interlocutors. All abstracts submitted by April 15 will be accepted for poster presentation. Poster evaluations for the presentation awards competition will be organized on May 11th afternoon to allow you to freely discuss your results around your posters with the whole community on May 12th (schedule at to come).

Abstracts will be chosen for 12-minute or 3MT-style oral presentations. Announcements of oral presentations will be made on April 22nd.

Several prizes will be awarded during the meeting, including the "Prix de contribution à la recherche - Pavel Hamet".

We will continue the tradition with our signature conference chosen from "Quebec Science's 10 discoveries of the year 2020". The name of the speaker will be announced shortly. Stay tuned for the latest news about the program!

We will also be very lucky to welcome Dr. Claudel Pétrin-Desrosiers for an inspiring conference on Climat change impact on human health. This will undoubtedly influence novel line of research that are urgently needed to respond to climat change.

We thank the students and postdoctoral fellows, the members of the student affairs committee, as well as the evaluators who guarantee the success of the event.
