The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) invites you to submit a proposal to speak at the 2025 Global Supply Chain & Trade Conference.

Note: please review the important information below before you fill out the proposal form under the submission tab found in the top left corner of this page.

Rules, Details, and Information about Speaking Roles

AAFA does not pay for speakers, including travel, lodging, or per diem. Do not submit a proposal if you are seeking to be paid.

• If you are a service provider or supplier to the apparel & footwear industry, your company must be a member of AAFA to be considered for a speaking role.

• Speaking roles are very limited.

• Speaking roles are strictly educational and aimed at providing thought leadership. Any sales pitches, commercial, or promotional content will be promptly rejected.

• Each idea or topic requires an individual submission, allowing for multiple proposals to be submitted.

• Topics and speakers may be combined with other ideas or presenters. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that, if selected, your topic will be featured as a standalone presentation.

• Submissions for events that are outside the scope of the event will not be considered.

• Suggested proposal topics for the conference include but are not limited to:

  • Supply chain

  • Sourcing

  • Logistics

  • Customs

Important Dates & Deadlines:

If you have submitted a proposal for AAFA's 2025 Global Supply Chain & Trade Conference, you can expect to receive feedback by Monday, January 13, 2025. Please see our projected* timeline below:

Call Opens: Friday, November 1, 2024
Call Closes: Friday, December 20, 2024

AAFA office will be closed from December 23, 2024 - January 3, 2025 for the holidays and will re-open on Monday, January 6.

Proposals reviewed by Subject Matter Experts: January 6 - 10, 2025

Notifications sent to speakers/submitters by Monday, January 13, 2025
