The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) invites you to submit a proposal to speak at the 2026 Vietnam: Apparel & Footwear Compliance Conference on October 20, 2026 at The Reverie Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City.

Rules, Details, and Information about Speaking Roles

AAFA does not pay for speakers, including travel, lodging, or per diem. Do not submit a proposal if you are seeking to be paid.
 

• If you are a service provider or supplier to the apparel & footwear industry, your company must be a member of AAFA to be considered for a speaking role.

• Speaking roles are very limited.

• Submissions for events that are outside the scope of the event will not be considered.

• Speaking roles are strictly educational and aimed at providing thought leadership. Any sales pitches, commercial, or promotional content will be promptly rejected.

• Each idea or topic requires an individual submission, allowing for multiple proposals to be submitted.

• Topics and speakers may be combined with other ideas or presenters. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that, if selected, your topic will be featured as a standalone presentation.

• If your proposal is selected, any significant changes to the subject matter or presenters after selection may result in the withdrawal of your speaking role.

• If your proposal is selected, speakers are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses; AAFA will not cover these costs.

• Suggested proposal topics for the conference include but are not limited to:

  • Social Responsibility

  • Environmental Regulations

  • Chemical Regulations

  • Brand/Supplier Partnerships

  • Sustainability

  • Traceability

  • Trade

Proposals reviewed by Subject Matter Experts: Friday, May 22, 2026

Notifications sent to speakers/submitters by Friday, May 29, 2026
