Applying for a Visa
International Participants (Except Indian and Taiwan Nationals)
International attendees traveling to Pakistan for conferences/seminars should apply for the “Other / Miscellaneous Visa” through Pakistan’s online visa portal.
Recommended timeline: Visas to Pakistan are valid for 3 months from the date of issue. Apply at least 6 weeks before your planned travel date.
Documents you’ll typically need
Valid passport
Recent passport-size photo
Invitation letter from the conference/host organization
If a spouse/child is traveling with you, the invitation letter should include their details as well.

Indian Nationals
Indian nationals must apply for a Conference Visa through the High Commission of Pakistan, New Delhi.
Applicants are advised to:
Call the High Commission and obtain an appointment before visiting for visa submission.

Please note:
Indian nationals may be subject to police verification upon arrival in Pakistan, depending on the discretion of the High Commission.
Taiwan Nationals
Taiwan nationals must apply for a Conference Visa through the Consulate General of Pakistan, Hong Kong.
Applicants are advised to:
Contact the Consulate in advance to confirm documentation requirements.
Obtain an appointment before visiting for visa submission.
Apply well in advance to allow sufficient processing time.
