AAS-in-Asia 2026 Late Breaking Sessions
The Organizing Committee invites proposals for Late-Breaking Sessions at the 2026 AAS-in-Asia Conference taking place on September 25-27, 2026 at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan.
Late-Breaking Sessions provide an opportunity to engage in time-sensitive conversations on recent developments, emerging trends, and current events that affect scholarship, teaching, and public engagement.
Submission Process
This is a two-step process where panelists whose proposals have been provisionally accepted will be asked to submit additional information for final acceptance.
Proposal Deadline
The deadline to submit Late-Breaking Session proposals for AAS-in-Asia Lahore 2026 is: April 30th, 2026
Important Guidelines
We will consider roundtables and organized panel sessions only (no individual papers).
Only panelists whose sessions have been preliminary accepted will be contacted.
All sessions will run for 90 minutes.
Roundtables should consist of no more than five panelists including one chair.
Panels must have: 1 chair; a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 5 papers; and preferably at least 1 discussant, with a maximum of 2.
Spaces for Late-Breaking Session are very limited.
Participants who already have a panel or a roundable accepted for AAS-in-Asia 2026 can also apply for late breaking session.
