A-BC Islet Workshop - Trainee-Focused Islet Biology Conference

Welcome

We would like to extend an invitation to scientists and trainees from across Canada to attend the A-BC Islet Workshop 2023.

The meeting will be held February 15 & 16, 2023 at the Silver Star Mountain Resort in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia.

The A-BC Islet Workshop meeting has been organized by the University of Alberta and the University of British Columbia since 2012. This joint workshop began in response to a need to provide a targeted scientific meeting for islet scientists and trainees to share their research. The meeting format is designed to give trainees experience delivering oral presentations.

  • Insulin Secretion and Islet Biology
  • Stem Cells and Beta Cell Development
  • Beta Cell Growth and Death
