Beyond Resilience: A Path to Heal Medicine
Onsite Registration Available!
It is our pleasure to announce the "Beyond Resilience: A Path to Heal Medicine" academic conference on May 2, 2026 in Dallas, Texas. The conference is open to all medical professionals and seeks to propose solutions to the dysfunction of modern medicine that many of us, as its practitioners, experience in our daily practice. We are often called to be "resilient," but somehow the term has become an empty slogan rather than a mechanism through which medicine is made whole.
At Al Amin Ethics, under the leadership of founder and director Shaykh Mohammed Amin Kholwadia, we have been working on developing an understanding of Islamic ethics that can go beyond resilience to attract Allah's Shifaa, the ultimate source of healing for humankind. Shaykh Amin has developed an understanding of Islamic ethics which takes its universality and brings it down to the bedside, where resiliency is most needed.
We also invite abstracts for presentation at the conference by medical students who can propose novel methods to heal medicine. Abstracts should be no more than 500 words
Full-time and part-time students are welcome and will receive a discounted rate.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Islamic Medical Association of North America (IMANA) and Al-Amin Institute. IMANA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
