Conference Overview
After a successful inaugural event earlier in 2024, Boston Medical Center's Grayken Center for Addiction is widening the reach of its second annual addiction conference. Together for Hope 2025, which will be taking place on April 16 and April 17, 2025 at the DCU Center in Worcester, will bring together substance use disorder experts and people with lived experience from all across Massachusetts.
Please be sure to sign up for updates as it is the primary way to receive conference news and be notified when registration opens.
Together for Hope aims to convene people who work in the addiction space to collaborate, share innovations, and establish connections and community across Massachusetts. Everyone who works in the addiction field is welcome, including, but not limited to: Massachusetts-based physicians, social workers, nurses, physicians assistants, behavioral health clinicians, researchers, recovery coaches, peer support workers, harm-reduction specialists, and policymakers. We also warmly invite people with lived experience of substance use disorder and their families to join us.
The conference will include lively roundtable discussions, workshops centered on skill and career development, multidisciplinary panels, and presentations from leaders and innovators in the addiction space, focused on the themes of Recovery, Harm Reduction, Youth and Family, and Addiction Treatment.
Come join your colleagues from around the state for the exciting presentations and workshops that we are planning on:
Navigating the risks of cannabis use in adolescents and young adults
How to implement a treatment program for stimulant use disorder
Demystifying the grant application process
Implementing Plans of Safe Care: Stepping away from automatic DCF reporting of substance exposed newborns
