Event Overview

BME connect | Alumni and Industry Day brings together students, trainees, alumni, faculty, and industry partners for a full day of networking, career exploration, and knowledge exchange in biomedical engineering and health innovation. The event is designed to strengthen connections across academia, clinical sectors, industry, and the broader life sciences and engineering ecosystem, while creating opportunities for collaboration, research visibility, and professional development across all stages of the biomedical engineering pathway. 

The program features keynote presentations, alumni panels representing both early-career and established professionals, and structured networking sessions with industry and entrepreneurship partners. 

Participants will gain insight into diverse career pathways in biomedical engineering across academia, clinical research, startups, government, and industry leadership, as well as perspectives on translating biomedical research into real-world healthcare impact.
