BRaIN Program Symposium - March 3, 2026
Join us for the BRaIN Program Symposium on March 3, 2026—a premier event designed for graduate students, trainees, and researchers to explore cutting-edge developments in neuroscience. This is an exceptional opportunity to connect with peers, share insights, and learn about the latest research shaping the field.
Highlights of the Day:
Research Presentations: Showcase of research through oral sessions and a poster session organized by the Montreal Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience (SfN).
Selected Abstracts: Top submissions will be chosen for oral presentations.
Keynote Address: Dr. Robert Zatorre, cognitive neuroscientist at the Montreal Neurological Institute whose work uses advanced neuroimaging to reveal how the human brain processes speech, music, and auditory perception.
Networking & Collaboration: Engage with the RI-MUHC neuroscience community.
Lunch Included for All Registrants.

To participate in the poster session, you must be an SfN Montreal member (the $25 membership fee is payable at registration.)
While the morning features BRaIN member presentations and the afternoon highlights work from members of the Montreal Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience, all registered attendees are warmly welcomed and encouraged to join us for every part of the day—your presence enriches the experience for everyone.

Instructions for Oral and Poster Presentations
Oral Presentations:
Oral presentations will be held in person in the Cruess Amphitheatre. Each presentation should cover an introduction, hypothesis, methods, results, and conclusions. Remember to make your presentation accessible to a broad audience and avoid jargon. Explain all clinical terms and scientific methods clearly. Duration of presentations will be confirmed.
Poster Presentations:
Poster presentations will be held in the RI-MUHC Elspeth McConnell Atrium. Pushpins will be provided, and feel free to print individual slideshow slides if you cannot print a large poster. The goal is to introduce yourself, your research, and your major outcomes in a succinct and clear manner. Recommended poster size: 45x45 inches.
