The Inaugural David Healey MSK Day Conference will take place over two afternoons and provide participants an update and review to primary care physicians on common orthopedic/musculoskeletal injuries. The theme for this conference is focusing on MSK issues from cradle to grave with focus on how to evaluate/investigate and treat common MSK conditions in pediatric and adult patients.
Learning Objectives
- Identify common orthopaedic/musculoskeletal injuries in pediatric and adult patients.
- Effectively treat and diagnose common MSK conditions in pediatric and adult patients in a clinical setting.
- Apply enhanced knowledge of common orthopaedic/musculoskeletal injuries to improve patient care and outcomes.

Cancellation Fees
The NOSM CEPD office reserves the right to cancel courses if required. Registrants will be notified as early as possible if this course is cancelled.
Registration fees for courses cancelled by NOSM CEPD office will be refunded; however NOSM CEPD will not be liable for any loss, damage or other expenses that such cancellation may cause.
In the event that a participant needs to withdraw from the program after registering, a cancellation administration fee will be applied. Please see below for cancellation deadlines and associated fees:
- Cancellation within five days of the conference receives zero refund
- Cancellation six days or more before the conference receives a refund of 75% of the paid fee

Accreditation
This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the Continuing Education and Professional Development Office at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine for up to 6 Mainpro+ credits.
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Continuing Education and Professional Development Office at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. You may claim a maximum of 6 hours (credits are automatically calculated).
