Free Walking Tour of UVic Neighbourhood
Join us for a walk up ‘Mount’ Tolmie 120m (70m elevation gain), approx 2km, within a 30min walk from UVic to orientate ourselves to the surrounding landscape with views to what is now Vancouver & area and Washington State. We will then walk approx 3.5 kms, 50mins ‘down’ to sea level to Cadboro (Cadborough) Bay. Some folks may linger in Cadboro Bay Village and some will walk approx 2km back ‘up’ (55m elevation gain) to UVic. Historical airphotos and maps will be available to provide context.

Cowichan Valley Wine Tour - SOLD OUT

Bike Tour
Join us for an e-bike tour of coastal Victoria from Cadboro Bay south and west along the waterfront to Victoria’s inner harbour and back. The e-cycle will be approx 50kms, 3-4hrs with stops and commentary.
Location and Time: Monday June 1, 2pm-5pm or Friday June5, 10am-1pm, leisurely 3-4 hrs
Cost: $75 -$100 (bike pickup at the store)

Field trip participation and cancellation policy
Field trip registration is separate from general conference registration and requires advance sign-up and payment. Field trips may be cancelled due to limited enrollment or if registration and payment thresholds are not met by the stated deadline. In the event of a cancellation, refunds will be processed through the respective tour operator and will be subject to their individual cancellation policies.
