CALL FOR ABSTRACTS 

CAMO is pleased to announce the call for abstract submissions for the 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting, taking place November 5-7, 2026 in Calgary, AB. Abstracts must be submitted through the online portal by May 25, 2026, with all required author disclosures (COI form) completed at the time of submission. Submissions will undergo a blinded peer-review process, and notifications will be issued the week of June 22, 2026.

• If your abstract is accepted for oral presentation, you must join us in person to present.

• If your abstract is accepted for poster presentation, you will be required to upload a digital version of your poster for judging purposes. You will also be asked to present your poster in person during the meeting.

ELIGIBILITY

ORAL PRESENTATIONS & PUBLICATION
*FOR MEDICAL STUDENTS, INTERNAL MEDICINE RESIDENTS, MEDICAL ONCOLOGY RESIDENTS & FELLOWS

• All accepted abstracts are given an allotted podium time, for a full-length oral presentation.

• Abstracts that are accepted for podium may be offered a publication opportunity, as per the discretion of the review committee.

• Authors can submit multiple unique abstracts but may only have one abstract accepted for podium presentation.
  

POSTER PRESENTATIONS & PUBLICATION
*FOR INTERNAL MEDICINE RESIDENTS, MEDICAL ONCOLOGY RESIDENTS/FELLOWS, MEDICAL STUDENTS, UNDERGRADUATE/GRADUATE STUDENTS

• As an author of an accepted abstract, you are given an allotted time for a virtual poster presentation and also have the opportunity to present your poster in person during the meeting.

• Abstracts that are accepted for poster presentations may be offered a publication opportunity, as per the discretion of the review committee.
