The Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux (CIUSSS) de la Capitale-Nationale is pleased to invite you to join us in-person on June 17th and 18th 2022 at the Quebec City Convention Centre or virtually for the 23rd Canadian Collaborative Mental Health Care Conference.
Held over two days in a different Canadian city each year, the conference aims to advance collaborative care practices in Canada by fostering dialogue and knowledge sharing between providers working in primary care, mental health and community-based settings, administrators, policymakers, researchers, teachers and students, and people with lived and living experience of mental health or substance use challenges, along with their families and caregivers.
This year’s conference theme is “Collaborating to create new pathways towards recovery, empowerment and social inclusion”. For this conference, recovery refers to people striving to live satisfying, hopeful lives and contributing to society even if they are experiencing mental health or substance use problems. The theme emphasizes the essential role that people with lived and living experience play as partners and leaders in collaborative care and the need to work together to strengthen recovery-oriented services and policies in Canada and internationally. The theme also recognizes the importance of promoting social inclusion and equity for people living with mental health and/or substance use challenges, cultivating and empowering communities, and addressing social determinants of health and well-being.

Insofar as the health situation allows on June 17-18, 2022, we are planning a hybrid conference where the speakers and a certain number of participants will be able to participate in the event in-person at the Quebec City Convention Centre while maintaining a virtual component. The organizing committee reserves the right to convert 100% of the activities to a virtual format depending on the evolution of the epidemiological portrait.
