7th Annual CRBS Symposium

Dear colleagues,

We kindly invite you to take part in the seventh Annual Symposium of the Centre de Recherche en Biologie Structurale de l'Université McGill.

The following speakers have confirmed their presence: Peter Fratzl (Max Planck Institute, Germany) ; Grant Jensen (Brigham Young University in Provo, USA), Alexandra Porter (Imperial College London, UK), Anne-Lise Routier-Kierzkowska (Université de Montréal, Canada) and Caroline Wagner (McGill University).

Poster sessions, short talks from trainees and exhibitors are also on the agenda of this event.

New this year:

-To support our bilingual community, a third oral presentation session has been added for trainees wishing to present their work in French. 

-CRBS and JSB(X) are organizing a Special Collection issue from the pool of oral and poster presentations. The Special Collection is a virtual issue featuring articles that are also published in regular issues in JSB (hybrid, IF 2.7) and JSBX (open access, IF 5.1). Historically, Special Collections attract higher traffic and higher citation rate. Methods papers, short communications and typical data papers stemming from the 7^th Annual CRBS symposium can be submitted between January 1^st and May 31^st 2026, with the Special Collection being fully assembled and published by November 2026. Co-guest editors are Natalie Reznikov and Natalie Zeytuni.

Important dates: 
Registration deadline: October 28^th at noon
Abstract submission for a talk: October 17^th at noon
Abstract submission for a poster: October 24^th at noon
