Power & Privilege Learning Lab with Adeline Huynh, MSW’14 
This Learning Lab follows the September 28th Inform & Inspire session on Power & Privilege and offers an opportunity to further explore the concept through smaller-group discussion, reflection, and shared learning. 

The DAE EDI Committee is committed to fostering respectful, equitable, and inclusive spaces aligned with UBC’s StEAR Framework, and is proud to support opportunities for EDI learning and open dialogue.

There will be light refreshments, including fresh coffee, tea, fruit and baked goods to enjoy at the beginning of the session. Gluten-free and vegan options will be available. Since we’re meeting over the lunch hour, please feel free to bring along your lunch or any extra snacks to keep you fueled throughout the session.

A Brief Overview:  
The workshop takes place in a private, quiet room with pod-style seating.  

Seating is armless and accessible for a range of body sizes and mobility needs.  

A sensory kit will be available to support participation. 

The room is close to accessible washrooms, a water fountain, and elevator access.  

The session includes a visual PowerPoint with slowed transitions and low-volume background music.  

Expect an interactive format, including small-group work.
