Ph.D. Workshop

A Ph.D. workshop will be held on the morning of Wednesday, September 9, 2026, as part of the annual conference. Organized by the Department of Economics and Statistics “Cognetti de Martiis” of the Università degli Studi di Torino (Gianluca Orsatti) with the support of Politecnico di Torino (Antonio De Marco) and sponsored by the Spears Business School, it is aimed at providing an informal, safe, and constructive environment with an additional opportunity to get feedback on their doctoral project and work in progress. The workshop will consist of a welcome address and parallel meetings organized according to the thematic focus of the Ph.D. projects, while ensuring an interesting mix of disciplines and profiles. Feedback will be provided by expert discussants and peers based on submitted extended abstracts or full papers.

Participation in the Ph.D. workshop is free of charge for doctoral researchers who are registered for the annual conference. However, they are required to indicate their interest in attending the workshop at the time of abstract or paper submission. Participation in the Ph.D. workshop will require the submission of some additional documents. More information regarding these documents will be provided after registration for the conference.
