About Us

Maternal-Infant Care (MiCare) is a collaborative network focused on advancing perinatal health through innovative research and targeted projects.

Its mission is to improve neonatal and maternal outcomes by addressing care gaps and enhancing quality.

Key initiatives include the Canadian Neonatal Network (CNN)—a national research leader across 33 NICUs—and

Evidence-based Practice for Improving Quality (EPIQ), which applies collaborative, evidence-based strategies to drive quality improvement in patient care.
