25 Years of NOAA EPP: Advancing Training, Research, and Workforce Development to Enhance National Priorities and Global Competitiveness

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Educational Partnership Program (EPP) Biennial Education and Science Forum will be jointly hosted by NOAA EPP and NOAA Center for Earth System Sciences and Remote Sensing Technologies (CESSRST) from July 20-23, 2026.

This is the 25th Anniversary of the NOAA EPP Cooperative Science Centers and the 12th Biennial Education and Science Forum. This forum provides an opportunity to showcase the results of collaborative research and education projects between students at NOAA EPP funded academic institutions and NOAA scientists; to generate new engagement opportunities; and, to promote professional development for (STEM) undergraduate and graduate students. This event brings together mentors, students, alumni and professionals to share insights and experiences.

Call for Abstracts

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Educational Partnership Program & CESSRST invites students, faculty, scientists, and partners to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations at the 12th Biennial NOAA EPP Education and Science Forum.

The Forum will feature technical sessions and a poster session highlighting research and workforce development across NOAA and the Cooperative Science Centers: Center for Earth System Sciences and Remote Sensing Technologies, Center for Coastal and Marine Ecosystems, Living Marine Resources Cooperative Science Center, and NOAA Center for Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology.
