URSCI 2026 Mini Fall Expo

Dominican University students work on research, scholarship and creative projects during the summer months with Faculty mentors from DU or other institutions. 

The URSCI 2026 Mini Expo provides students with the opportunity to show off your Summer 2026 work! 

Students may present ongoing, beginning and completed projects in a poster format. This event is a fun, low stress opportunity for students to present their work in preparation for the larger SI Expo in the Spring 2027. 

Faculty, staff, students, family and friends are invited. 

Schedule:

4-5 pm Poster Session in Parmer Atrium

5-6 pm Student Alumni Panel in 113 Parmer Hall

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION BY September 9th

You must 1) register for the event and 2) if you are the only author on the poster please register and submit a short abstract. If you are working in a group, choose one person from each poster group to submit a 250 word abstract (all will appear as authors).

All presentations will be in poster format. You will be asked to submit a PDF of your poster using the template here (download, complete and you will be asked to submit the PDF for printing)

Poster printing submitted by September 17 will be paid for by URSCI. Please email ursci@dom.edu with any questions.

Attending the Mini Expo

All attendees must register for the event so we can plan for refreshments and space

The Mini Expo welcomes all students, faculty, staff, friends and family

There is no cost to attend
