(Pour accéder à la page francophone, sélectionner FR dans le haut de la page)

Welcome

The organizing committee is happy to welcome you to our Artificial Intelligence for Logistic (AI4L) event website! This is a no-cost event and is open to everyone who has interest in the AI4L program.

The event will be held in-person in Ottawa at the National Research Council of Canada's (NRC) Montreal Road campus on May 17 and 18, 2023.

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone. The address is Building M-55, 1200 Montreal Rd., Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0R6. This is about 20 - 25 minutes from downtown Ottawa by taxi, and about 30 minutes from the Ottawa airport.

Registration

Registration for this event is now closed. An option for limited "listen-only" online access is available. Online access will enable listen-only viewing of most presentations on the main stage as delivered. Those interested in listen-only online access should register before 16 May 2023 at: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0tcO2vpjkiGdOyW6TXUGOPuIMkiU1bY4l5

All HQPs mandated to provide an abstract and presentation for the conference will need to create a Fourwaves account and complete the registration form.

All other persons who are interested in attending the event (ex. Internal and External PIs), must also register.

Everyone who wishes to attend the event must register by the deadline and also provide Government issued ID to enter the venue.

Details can be found on the Fourwaves Registration web form.

Abstract submission

*Please note that registration must be completed prior initiating the submission process.

All HQPs are required to submit their own (individual) abstract on or before Sunday, April 9th, 2023. The abstract should focus on that individual’s work and may also reference how it fits with the broader project (where appropriate). Abstracts are to be between 250 and 500 words in length and may (optionally) include one good quality image. Abstracts may be submitted in either English or French based on the preference of the individual.

To successfully complete the submission process, 2 mandatory documents must be uploaded during the submission:

  1. Abstract document (.docx) : MS Word abstract template (.docx) must be used for abstract. The template is available at the bottom of this event web page. Any figures, equations, etc. must be contained within the MS word document.
  2. Licence to publish document (pdf) : All HQPs must sign a "Licence to publish" form agreeing to allow the NRC to translate and publish their material and content. The form is at the bottom of this event web page.

Please note that Presentation slides are also required. These must be uploaded using the submission form on or before Sunday, May 7th, 2023. Details can be found on the Fourwaves Submission web form.

Presentations

Live presentations including MS Powerpoint slides of about 10 minutes are required from each HQP presenter. In cases where an appreciation of the full picture of a project requires an understanding of the work of several HQPs, please request to present together.

Slides decks in excess of 10MB cannot be submitted using this platform. Please contact NRC.AIforLogistics.Program-Programme.IALogistique.CNRC@nrc-cnrc.gc.ca no later than May 4th 2023 to discuss alternative submission approaches.

The presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint) must be uploaded through the Fourwaves Submission web pages on or before Sunday, May 7th, 2023. As abstracts will already be submitted at that time, HQPs will be able, through their Fourwaves account, to add their presentation slides to their same Submission form already submitted.

For support, follow the procedure at the following link: How to edit an existing registration or submission form (fourwaves.com)

Please note that changes made to abstracts after Sunday, April 9th, 2023 will not be effective.

Abstract template

Please download and use the attached abstract template for each abstract. Once completed, please upload the abstract (in MS word) using the submission portal.

Licence to publish

This license to publish document must be read, understood and signed. Once the document is completed and signed, you can scan and submit it (pdf format) using the submission portal. Abstracts without an accompanying "Licence to publish" will not be accepted.
