71st Annual Conference of the Canadian Society of Microbiologists


We are very pleased to invite you to the 71st Annual Conference of the Canadian Society of Microbiologists (CSM 2022) that will be held in person at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario, with a selected program also being offered online between June 26-29, 2022.

Please note, this conference is planned to be held in person, with the implementation of COVID-19 precautions. If an in-person meeting is not possible because of local health restrictions, the meeting will be virtual, with a partial program. In-person fees will be discounted and refunded accordingly.

The Local Organizing Committee of CSM 2022 is excited to host a successful event that will showcase the breadth, diversity and excellence of the Canadian microbiology community. Not only will we have an exceptional scientific program but we will also make sure that your experience in Guelph is worthwhile!

    Wafaa Antonious has been providing secretariat services for CCUBC since 1998 first through the Canadian Federation of Biological Socieites (CFBS). When CFBS folded at the end of 2008, Wafaa resumed providing secretariat services through her own company "Rofail Conference and Management Services (RCMS) as of January 2009. Wafaa's services for CCUBC includes providing support to CCUBC Executive (services and consultation), organizing the annual meeting, maintaining the website, book keeping, dealing with inquiries from members and others related to CCUBC activities. Through RCMS, Wafaa provides secretariat services to other organizations and organizes scientific workshops, meetings and conferences from 20 - 800 attendees.
