Bienvenue

Le laboratoire Santé des femmes et vieillissement tiendra, le dimanche 10 novembre prochain, son troisième colloque en santé pelvienne au Centre de recherche de l’Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal (CRIUGM). Le thème retenu pour cet événement est « Découvertes et innovations en santé pelvienne ». Il y sera principalement question des recherches internationales et canadiennes récentes en rééducation périnéale et pelvienne et de leurs impacts sur la pratique clinique en physiothérapie.

Au cours de cette journée, nous aurons le plaisir d'accueillir deux conférenciers vedettes :

- Nucelio Lemos, urogynécologue de l’Université de Toronto, qui présentera sur le thème : "Unveiling the intrapelvic nerves: clinical applications of pelvic neuroanatomy".

- Anne Cécile Pizzoferrato, gynécologue-obstétricienne du CHU de Poitiers en France, abordera la question : "Éducation à la santé périnéale: pour qui, comment?".

De plus, nous aurons le privilège d'écouter les présentations de plusieurs professeurs universitaires : Stéphanie Bernard, Linda McLean, Mélanie Morin et Chantale Dumoulin. Des étudiantes postgraduées partageront également les résultats de leurs recherches et projets. Veuillez noter que les présentations se dérouleront en français ou en anglais selon la préférence des conférencier.ère.s.

Welcome

The Women's Health and Aging Laboratory will be hosting its third symposium on pelvic health on Sunday,November 10th, 2024, at the Research Center of the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal (CRIUGM). The theme for this event is "Discoveries and Innovations in PelvicHealth". It will highlight recent developments in international and Canadian-based research on pelvic rehabilitation and explore their potential implications for clinical practice.

During the day, we will be pleased to welcome two keynote speakers:

- Nucelio Lemos, urogynecologist from the University of Toronto, who will present on “Unveiling the intrapelvic nerves: clinical applications of pelvic neuroanatomy”.

- Anne Cécile Pizzoferrato, an obstetrician-gynecologist from Poitiers University Hospital in France, will address the question: “Perineal health education: for whom, how?”.

In addition, we'll have the privilege of listening to presentations by several university professors: Stéphanie Bernard, Linda McLean, Mélanie Morin and Chantale Dumoulin. Post-graduate students will also share the results of their research and projects.
Please note that presentations will be given in French or English, according to the speakers' preference.
