Career Evening in Life Sciences

The Molecular Biology Student Committee (CEBM) of the University of Montreal is pleased to welcome you to the Career Evening in Life Sciences on March 30th from 3 pm to 7 pm at IRIC (2950 Chemin de Polytechnique). You will find here more information on the event's objectives, the participants and the schedule.

Wine, cheese, snacks and refreshments will be available!

During this evening, graduate and post-doctoral students in life sciences at the University of Montreal will have the opportunity to meet with company representatives and discover future employment opportunities. The format will be friendly with a presentation period of the companies present and an evening of professional networking with kiosks, wine and cheese. This is your chance to bring your resume! A professional photographer will also be on site so dress accordingly if you want a new LinkedIn profile picture! Also, prizes and giveaways will be available!

Thomas Milan

Scientific Communicator

A social media enthusiast and science lover, Thomas Milan is interested in popularization on digital platforms. Graduate of a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Montreal in 2021, his research project focused on the genetic mechanisms involved in pediatric leukemia. He won the 3rd prize of the jury at the national finals of the My Thesis in 180 seconds contest in 2021. Now self-employed, he helps organizations develop their digital strategy to promote science and research. As a content creator, host, researcher, speaker and trainer, Thomas is also the founder of Sciences À La Carte, a Twitch science popularization channel, where he discusses science in a relaxed atmosphere through press reviews and interviews.
