Where we are
How to get here
Brandon is situated 200 km due west of Winnipeg, on the Trans-Canada highway. It is serviced by road and air transportation.
These are the following options to travel to Brandon:
- Drive. It is a relatively easy drive, even though a bit boring, from Edmonton (1150 km, 11 hours), Calgary (1120 km, 11 hours), Saskatoon (620 km, 6 hours), Regina (360 km, 3.5 hours), Thunder Bay (930 km, 10 hours), and of course, Winnipeg (200 km, 2 hours).
- Fly directly to Brandon. There is one single connection, once per day to Calgary (Westjet).
- Fly to Winnipeg, which has good connections to everywhere, and then take ground transportation:
- You could rent a car: all major car rental companies operate at Winnipeg airport.
- You could take the Brandon Air Shuttle, which operates a 10-people van three times per day.
- Or, you can take the shuttle we will provide ($80 both ways). The buses will leave Winnipeg airport at 3 pm om May 19, and will leave Brandon University at 8 am on May 23.
