The Limno Corrals created then and now are light weight, highly  portable and easy to assemble. Modular for transporting on  canoes, ATV’s, small aircraft, snow mobiles and portaging  through the Boral Forest. When assembled researchers now can  properly isolate all water samples and ensure data accuracy. 

Our track record of working closely with researchers ensures the data they collect is as accurate as it is dependable.  

We use our experience assisting in the creation of innovative  designs from expandable Limno Corrals, Fish Corrals,  Submersible Corrals, Lake Curtains and many more. 

Our Limno Corrals offer researchers a unique opportunity to enter  the “outdoor laboratory” for collecting data in real time and  measure for environmental impact studies. 

We fabricate our Limno Corrals with high-quality plastic materials  that are safe and best suited for testing acid rain, mercury,  nuclear radiation, phosphorus, blue-green algae, oil spills and  micro plastics.

NORDIK (Northern Ontario Research, Development, Ideas and Knowledge) Institute is an innovative, community-based research institute affiliated with Algoma University, dedicated to supporting underserved communities through applied research, partnerships, and knowledge mobilization.

NORDIK Institute’s community-based water monitoring team is helping northern communities take the lead in understanding and protecting their local waters. Through hands-on tools, training, and knowledge sharing, communities are supported in collecting meaningful, locally relevant water data that can inform decisions and strengthen environmental stewardship. NORDIK is helping ensure that communities have the information they need to care for their waters now and into the future.

Beyond water monitoring, NORDIK offers a wide range of services including community-based research and evaluation, facilitation and engagement, social enterprise development and knowledge mobilization. NORDIK Institute supports a variety of projects, encompassing topics like environmental sustainability, economic development, and community well-being.

The Ocean Tracking Network (OTN) is a global aquatic research organization headquartered at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Since 2008, OTN has been deploying innovative ocean monitoring equipment and marine autonomous vehicles (gliders) across key ocean and freshwater locations in Canada and around the world. Over time, OTN’s capabilities have expanded to include remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and side-scan sonar systems, supporting a broad range of research applications, from species tracking to habitat mapping and beyond.

Ping DSP is a sonar technology company from North Saanich in British Columbia. Ping DSP is well known for inventing and developing the 3DSS™ 3D imaging and mapping sonar. The 3DSS™ offers superior wide swath bathymetry, geometrically correct 3D point cloud imaging, and enhanced 2D imagery, all produced concurrently from a compact, easy-to-use sonar. This approach of collecting three data types at once is thanks to CAATI technology, a patented signal processing methodology that extends the single angle-of-arrival principle used in traditional interferometric systems to accommodate multiple simultaneous backscatter arrivals (e.g. the seabed, sea surface, water-column, and multipath). The 3DSS comes in a compact formfactor with various levels of integration to suite any shallow-water surveying or imaging project.

The Red River Basin is a special place and keeping it that way requires that people share the responsibility for its future.  The RRBC brings people together to move common Basin goals forward. The RRBC is a charitable, not-for-profit organization designed to help facilitate a cooperative approach to water management within the Basin and is a well-established forum for identifying, developing, and implementing solutions to crossboundary issues. The RRBC is led by 44 directors representing the diversity of this multi-jurisdictional Basin and is comprised of local, state, provincial, and First Nation government representation, the environmental community, and at-large members.  It maintains offices in Fargo, ND and Winnipeg, MB and is dedicated to innovation in the management of the Red River Basin’s water resources.
