The mission of the International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement (IARSLCE) is to promote the development and dissemination of research on service-learning and community engagement internationally and across all levels of the education system. We fulfill this aspect of our mission by embracing all research frameworks, methods, and approaches.
IARSLCE is an international association and thus continues and enhances its efforts to engage diverse scholars from around the world in all aspects of its work and to be a desirable venue for a global network of scholars to disseminate their research.
IARSLCE is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. As an international association, we are committed to actively encouraging diversity, promoting inclusion, and supporting accessibility at our conferences and events for our association members.
IARSLCE values and affirms a commitment to racial, ethnic, gender, disability, age, cultural diversity, inclusion, and equity among its members. We understand this commitment as fundamental to advancing research and knowledge on service learning and community engagement. As such, we embrace these values to create a conference environment where all our Association members are welcomed and supported and where representation matters.
IARSLCE is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for all attendees and the campus community hosting us for the conference.
