About ICAIS

The International Conference on Aquatic Invasive Species (ICAIS) is the most comprehensive international forum to address new and emerging issues related to aquatic invasive species (AIS) in freshwater, marine and estuarine environments.

ICAIS provides an international platform for the presentation of research to advance global action to limit the introduction and spread of AIS worldwide and serves as a catalyst for international collaboration on research and management projects.

Through knowledge sharing and networking, ICAIS connects those involved in science and policy with practitioners and industry professionals on the front lines of AIS prevention and management.

Conference Delivery

For the most engaging experience at ICAIS 2024, we recommend attending in person; however, we recognize that this is not possible for everyone. There will be virtual aspects of the conference to support the participation of those who otherwise could not participate.

All breakout session presentations and poster presentations will be pre-recorded and available to view by all conference participants - both virtual and in person - and keynotes will be live streamed for those joining online. Questions can be typed into the virtual platform for presenters to answer online, and virtual participants will have a chance to ask questions live during the keynote plenaries.
