Navigating Change: AI-Driven Economies, Innovation, Entrepreneurial Growth and Green Transitions

The International Scientific Conference on Economics, Business and Management (ICEBM) is an annual academic forum organised by the University of Economics - Varna, Bulgaria. The conference brings together researchers, academics, doctoral students and practitioners to present and discuss contemporary research addressing the evolving challenges of the global economic and business environment.

The 2026 edition of the conference will focus on the theme “Navigating Change: AI-Driven Economies, Innovation, Entrepreneurial Growth and Green Transitions.” The event aims to explore how rapid technological advances, particularly in artificial intelligence, are reshaping economic systems, transforming business models and influencing innovation processes across industries. At the same time, organisations and policymakers are increasingly confronted with the need to support sustainable development, accelerate green transitions and foster entrepreneurial ecosystems capable of responding to global uncertainty.

The conference provides a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue on the opportunities and challenges associated with digital transformation, sustainable economic development, innovation management and the future of entrepreneurship in an increasingly data-driven and environmentally conscious world.

ICEBM 2026 will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either on site at the University of Economics - Varna or online.

All papers will be presented in English and will undergo a blind peer-review process.

The event is organised with the support of the Bulgarian National Science Fund under Administrative Contract No. КП-06-МНФ/9, dated 18 May 2026.
