Abstracts Submission Guidelines

Eligibility & Submission Process

· The presenting author must be registered for IDMC-15. Only the presenting author may submit an abstract;

· During the submission process, the author must declare whether the abstract is submitted on behalf of, by, or in collaboration with a company in the pharmaceutical or related industries;

· Abstracts must be written in English;

· Titles should not exceed 20 words;

· Abstracts must not exceed 300 words;

· A maximum of 20 co-authors is allowed. If additional contributors were involved, they should be listed as a study group in the last co-author slot and acknowledged in the poster or presentation;

· The first name, last name, organization, and country must be provided for the presenter and all co-authors;

· Authors must indicate a preference for a poster or oral presentation;

· References, graphics, tables, figures, keywords, and subheadings (e.g., background, methods) are not permitted in the abstract text box and will be removed by the Program Committee;

· If an error occurs during submission, the file can be updated and resubmitted until the abstract submission deadline (January 9, 2026 (midnight EDT). If resubmitting, please indicate this in the comment box. Only the most recent submission will be reviewed.

Presentation Format

· Poster presentation: Posters will be displayed on a traditional poster board at the venue;

· Oral presentation: Presenters must bring a PowerPoint presentation (.PPT or .PPTX format).

Conflict of Interest & Submission Requirements

· Abstract submitters are not required to sign a conflict-of-interest form;

· If selected for an oral presentation, presenters must include a conflict-of-interest slide at the beginning of their presentation;

· It is the presenting author’s responsibility to disclose any conflicts of interest on their poster or presentation slides and inform organizers of any changes before the Congress.

Submission Process

· There is no limit to the number of abstracts an individual can submit. However, the Program Committee may reject multiple abstracts reporting on the same study or clinical trial.

Review & Acceptance Process

· Abstracts will be reviewed by the International Scientific Committee, with decision communicated by January 30th;

· If an abstract is not accepted, the authors will be notified promptly and may still attend the Congress or request a full cancellation;

· Authors are responsible for ensuring their abstracts are free from spelling, grammar, and scientific errors. Accepted abstracts will be published in the congress book as submitted;

· The Program Committee may shorten titles for publication and remove acknowledgements or incorrect formatting.

Changes & Withdrawals

Publication

· Accepted abstract titles will be published in the Congress program;

· Abstracts will remain available to IDMC members after the Congress.
