UC San Diego Park & Market is located in the heart of Downtown San Diego at 1100 Market Street, in the East Village neighborhood, making it easy to access some of the city’s most walkable, vibrant areas.
The East Village is Downtown San Diego’s largest neighborhood and a hub for restaurants, cafés, and a growing arts-and-culture scene. It’s also home to Petco Park - the San Diego Padres’ ballpark. Nearby Gaslamp Quarter is just blocks from East Village, the historic Gaslamp Quarter is one of Downtown’s best-known districts for dining, nightlife, shopping, and entertainment.

GETTING TO SAN DIEGO
By Air: San Diego is served by San Diego International Airport (SAN), located approximately 4 miles from Downtown San Diego’s East Village. SAN offers nonstop service to 80+ destinations, with convenient flights to major U.S. hubs including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York, and the Washington, D.C. area, as well as nonstop international service, including London (Heathrow). By Train: The Santa Fe Depot, located in downtown San Diego at Kettner and Broadway, is the main hub for Amtrak and the Coaster commuter rail. Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner will take you along the beautiful coastline from San Diego to Solana Beach and Oceanside, and onward to Anaheim, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and more destinations. LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
TROLLEY - SAN DIEGO MTS
UC San Diego Park & Market is located near the Park & Market trolley stop. You can take the UC San Diego Blue Line (which runs from UC San Diego’s La Jolla campus to the U.S.-Mexico border) or the Orange Line to arrive via Trolley. Alternatively, take the Green Line Trolley to the 12th and Imperial station and walk approximately nine minutes to Park & Market.
