Instructions:

**Posters must fit within the poster board dimensions (landscape): 6 ft long and 4 ft high.**

1. Submission deadline is April 15, 2024 (Monday, April 15th at 11:59 pm ET)

2. Abstract title is no more than 150 characters (not including the spaces).

3. Abstract text and any optional support/funding information, when combined, are no more than 350 words (not including spaces).

4. Abstracts should be comprised of the following sections and/or information:
a. Titles should be informative but concise, where relevant include how results were obtained primarily – in vivo/in vitro, method and species.
b. Author list: name of presenting author, co-authors, and affiliations
c. State the gap in knowledge. Clearly describe the problem you're addressing with your research. Provide a clear hypothesis or objective.
d. Provide concise methods. Include 1-4 sentences that provides sufficient information to put your results into context.
e. Results are the body of the abstract. Describe your data and support statements of “increase” or “decrease” with values and/or statistical analyses. This should be the largest section in your abstract.
f. Conclude with your interpretation of the significance of study. End with a sentence describing the significance of the study and what it means for your field. It is not sufficient to say: “the results will be discussed.”

5. All abstract submissions will be reviewed and must comply with the following criteria: scientific merit, technical quality, relevance, originality, and contains information as described above
