We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2026 Waters Innovation Summit, our annual internal scientific conference celebrating innovation, technical excellence, and the application of science and engineering to solve important customer problems.
This year's Summit is very significant. As Waters expands its scientific capabilities through new technologies, new skill sets, and new colleagues, we have a unique opportunity to learn from one another and build stronger connections across disciplines. Bringing together expertise in chemistry, biology, engineering, informatics, materials science, mass spectrometry, and diagnostics will help us better understand customer needs and develop technologies that address increasingly complex scientific challenges.
Our theme for 2026 is Breakthroughs at the Interface of Chemistry and Biology. Many of the most important opportunities for our customers lie at the intersection of these disciplines, requiring new approaches, new collaborations, and new ways of thinking. The Innovation Summit will highlight technologies, applications, and scientific advances that help customers generate better data, improve productivity, and answer questions that were previously difficult or impossible to address.
We will have in-person engagements and scientific discussions while continuing to support hybrid and global participation. All presentations will be pre-recorded and available on this conference website 28th Sept 2026. We will also have live presentations and panel discussions across 10 sites, along with a full program in San Diego. Our goal is to recognize compelling science and strengthen scientific connections across disciplines and locations. Innovation thrives at every career stage. We encourage associates at all career stages to participate.
The conference will feature several networking opportunities, scientific presentations, posters, and panel discussions spanning both our core technologies, emerging areas, and technical challenges. We will have presentations on our understanding of new technologies and applications, project breakthroughs, or emerging technology and customer challenges. Your active engagement and contribution help advance our understanding of how science and engineering can be applied to solve meaningful customer challenges.

Focuses on high-definition immunology, combining large-scale immune profiling, multi-omics, and AI/ML analytics to decode the immune system and enable precision diagnostics, transplantation monitoring, and immuno-oncology applications
Specializes in AI-driven computational biology, using foundation models, transcriptomics, and causal inference to generate mechanistic insights that accelerate drug discovery, biomarker development, and precision medicine.
