If you have not yet secured accommodations, we encourage you to make arrangements directly with local hotels or other lodging providers as soon as possible, as availability may be limited during the Congress.

The IUCr 2026 dorm room block has now closed. If you are still interested in staying at the University of Calgary residences, accommodations may still be available on a space-available basis. Please contact the University of Calgary Accommodations Office directly to inquire about availability and make a reservation. Availability cannot be guaranteed, but the accommodations team will be happy to assist you if rooms remain available.

IUCr2026 is not utilizing the services of any housing bureau or online hotel booking sites for this event. To secure your accommodations, please make your reservation directly with our official hotels by using the designated attendee links provided. By booking within the official block, you are not only guaranteed the best rates and amenities, but you are also helping support the success of the Congress by ensuring we meet our contracted room commitments.
We encourage all participants to remain cautious of third-party companies that may contact exhibitors or attendees with offers for “discounted” hotel rates. Booking through such companies can lead to problems such as false or invalid reservations, unexpected convenience fees, loss of deposits, or other penalties. IUCr2026 cannot guarantee room rates or availability arranged through third-party vendors. Providing your credit card information to unauthorized companies may result in charges without a valid reservation upon your arrival in Calgary.
