CIMA-Q's Fondation Famille Lemaire Science Event

THE CIMA-Q PROJECT

The Consortium for the Early Identification of Alzheimer's Disease-Quebec (CIMA-Q) is a ten-year longitudinal project that periodically collects socio-demographic, clinical, neuropsychological, neuropsychiatric and neuroimaging information as well as biological samples from a cohort of more than 350 participants aged 65 and over who are living with Alzheimer's disease or are at risk of developing it.

For the benefit of patients, the CIMA-Q database and bio samples collected are made available in open access to the entire research community. CIMA-Q also develops standardized procedures, quality control methods, methodological tools, integrated clinical platforms and it supports experts who help establish best practices in the field.

To date, thousands of data and samples are available, making it a unique resource ready to be shared to advance knowledge on Alzheimer's disease. (For more details on the material available, see the CIMA-Q DATA BANK tab).
