KAERA International Research Forum 소개

재미한인교육연구자협회(Korean-American Educational Researchers Association, KAERA)는 제1회 KAERA International Research Forum을 개최합니다. 본 포럼은 온라인 포스터 발표를 중심으로 한국과 미국을 비롯한 다양한 국가와 지역의 교육 연구자를 연결하고 학술적 교류를 확대하기 위해 마련된 국제 연구 포럼입니다. 2008년 설립된 KAERA는 현재 1,000명 이상의 회원이 참여하는 학술 공동체로, 재미 한인 및 한국 교육 연구자들의 연구와 학문적 성장을 지원하고 교육 연구와 실천의 발전을 위해 다양한 학술 활동을 이어오고 있습니다.

이번 포럼은 학부생, 석사 및 박사과정 대학원생, 신진 연구자뿐 아니라 교수, 연구자, 교육자 및 현장 실천가가 연구 또는 교육 현장의 실천 사례를 온라인 포스터와 짧은 녹화 발표를 통해 공유하는 자리입니다. 연구 결과의 발표뿐 아니라 KAERA 연구자들과의 피드백, 멘토링, 학술적 네트워킹을 통해 국가와 기관, 경력 단계를 넘어 교류할 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다.

포럼은 다음 두 가지 방식으로 운영됩니다.

• 온라인 포스터 갤러리: 지정된 기간 동안 승인된 포스터와 녹화 발표 영상을 온라인으로 공개하고, 참가자들이 자유롭게 열람하며 댓글과 질문을 통해 의견을 교환합니다.

• 실시간(synchronous) 온라인 세션: 기조 발표, 멘토링 소그룹 세션, Best Poster Presentation Award 시상 등으로 구성됩니다.

About the KAERA International Research Forum

The Korean-American Educational Researchers Association (KAERA) is pleased to announce the inaugural 1st KAERA International Research Forum, an online poster forum designed to bridge educational research communities across Korea and the United States. Established in 2008 and with over 1,000 members, KAERA is dedicated to advancing knowledge, scholarship, and educational practice among Korean-American and Korean researchers.

This forum provides a platform for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, as well as early-career researchers, to share their scholarly work through online research posters and brief recorded presentations. Beyond showcasing research, the forum offers meaningful opportunities to receive feedback from KAERA members, engage in mentoring conversations, and build academic networks across both countries.

The 1st KAERA International Research Forum will feature:

• An asynchronous online poster gallery (November 1 - 13, 2026), where all accepted posters and recorded presentations are available for viewing and community feedback.

• A live synchronous session (November 13, 2026) featuring keynote presentations, mentoring breakout sessions, and a Best Poster Presentation Award ceremony.
