Hey kids—it’s your turn to take over!

On Sunday, February 15, join UBC Inspired, the Arts and Culture District, and partners across campus for Kids Take Over UBC—a day of arts, culture, music and mayhem! Choose your own adventure from a lineup of activities and performances designed to entertain, educate, and inspire kids (and grownups, too!).

From dance parties with DJ Rock’N’Beau and the KPop Demon Hunters, to the magic of Mozart with UBC Opera, to immersive cultural discoveries at the Museum of Anthropology, to hands-on ice cream science and much more! There’s something for all ages and interests!

How it works

Kids Take Over UBC is a ticketed event, and tickets must be purchased in advance.

• Your ticket provides access to all participating venues and activities, hosted by UBC’s amazing campus partners.

• All activities take place in person on UBC’s Vancouver campus.

• Visit the Schedule tab at the top of the page to view the full lineup of activities and plan your day. More activities will be added as they’re confirmed.

Important Information

• Every attendee, including children and adults, requires their own ticket.

• Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

• Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred. To request a transfer, email info.inspired@ubc.ca with your name and a copy of your ticket receipt.

• Tickets are limited and sales will close once the event is sold out. Some activities and workshops have capacity limits, but there will be plenty to explore throughout the day.

Ticket Rates *All prices are before applicable taxes and fees.

UBC Affiliated (Students, Faculty, Staff, UBC Alumni and Residents*): *Residents are those residing in the University Neighbourhoods Association (UNA), Acadia Park or Musqueam:

• Child (ages 0-12) - $8

• Adult/Youth (ages 13+) - $15

General Public: 

• Child (ages 0-12) - $12

• Adult/Youth (ages 13+) - $23

General public tickets go on sale Jan 22 at 9am
