Register Now and Submit an Abstract for the 101st Annual Meeting of the Louisiana Academy of Sciences!

The Louisiana Academy of Sciences Annual Meeting is an outstanding venue to celebrate scientific excellence in Louisiana and to foster discussion among peer groups of scientists. The Academy especially encourages participation and presentations by both undergraduate and graduate students. The Annual Meeting is a supportive environment where students have an opportunity to hone their presentation skills, make connections with scientists in their field, and become informed about study and research opportunities in the state and region. Registration for the Annual Meeting also includes complimentary 1-year membership in the Academy.

Registration rates
Regular: $100             
Graduate Student: $60
Undergraduate: $40
Non-scientist/non-science student: $20
Institutional exhibitor: $200

Deadlines
Abstract Submission: January 29, 2027
Competition Extended Abstract Submission: February 5, 2027
Registration and Fee Payment: March 5, 2027

Best Student Paper Competition
The Louisiana Academy of Science hosts a Best Student Paper competition in a variety of disciplines for both undergraduate and graduate students presenting their research by either podium or poster at the annual meeting.
