You are your most valuable leadership tool! Developing oneself with a leadership lens, provides insights and strategies essential to being an effective leader. The clinical, educational, and organizational settings in which we lead are characterized by constant change and the VUCA characteristics of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. Success within VUCA demands moving from fear of the unknown to learning from the challenges and creating safe spaces to learn together with colleagues and team members. Self-awareness, reflection, and coaching accelerate leadership development.
Learning Objectives:
1. Discover individual and collective leadership practices relevant to leading in Northern Ontario.
2. Create collegial leadership networks which provide supportive avenues for personal growth and addressing leadership challenges.
3. Practice coaching skills applicable to leadership, clinical, and educational settings.
4. Identify strategies to support leadership diversity, equity, and inclusion in Northern Ontario.
