Early Career Investigators
Funding for Early Career Scientists' Workshop
Financial support to young scientists for attending a one-day Workshop for Early Career Scientists
Early career scientists are cordially invited to participate in a scientific training workshop on October 5, 2025, prior to the conference. This workshop will provide an in-depth understanding of key topics in radiation chemistry and offer participants the opportunity to learn from renowned scientists. It will also provide a valuable opportunity for networking and collaboration.
Thanks to the sponsors/donors of the 33rd Miller Conference, it will be possible to cover the costs for young scientists to participate in the one-day workshop. The support will also cover an overnight stay (night from October 4 to 5, 2025) at the Kompas Hotel (BB, double use).
For this purpose, we define "early career scientists" as those who have not yet received a PhD or have received a PhD within the last 7 years (this period may be extended to account for career breaks).
Early career scientists are asked to send their CV, a letter of motivation, and a letter of recommendation from their supervisor/mentor to miller@irb.hr or tjurkin@irb.hr.
The number of participants in the workshop will be limited.
The application deadline is May 15, 2025. Please submit your applications as soon as possible.
